Intellectual knowledge is superior to knowledge through the senses. Intuitive knowledge is superior to intellectual knowledge. Each have their own place in life. Distinguishing between them is wisdom.
Learn to turn the senses inward. Either getting fed up of the world OR with contentment in life, the mind turns inward.

When the senses turn inward, there is another type of enjoyment (of deep rest). That is the ‘ananda’ (enjoyment) of soul.
A knowledgeable one also eats, gets angry, loves. But there's no disturbance to his peace. But a fool gets entangled in everything he does. Because our senses are attracted to objects outside. This is natural but getting entangled is ignorance.
When the mind transcends the senses, it comes back to it's true nature, which is innocence - 'in no sense'
Tiredness is when our senses go outward; the moment the senses start turning inward, we are tapping into the eternal source of energy.
Six types of wealth one should have are – Shama (equanimity of the mind), Dama (restraint or say over one’s senses), Uparati (ability to enjoy what one has), Titiksha (endurance or fortitude in both good and bad),Samadhana (being established in the Self, in the Divine) and Shraddha (deep unshakeable faith).
