Guru doesn’t look for intelligence in a disciple. He creates an opportunity where the intelligence that is already there, blossoms.
When you are a leader don’t stop being a student or a disciple, else you will lose something very precious.
What is the significance of the Guru Disciple Tradition? It is for the Disciple to realize that desires are endless.
Master is one who does not want anything for himself/herself and wants everything for His/Her disciple.
You cannot ‘make’ or 'choose' someone as your Guru. You simply believe that someone is your Guru. We often say that "I have 'chosen' or ‘made’ someone my Guru". If a disciple thinks that he can ‘make’ someone his or her Guru, then that is not so.
