Guru doesn’t look for intelligence in a disciple. He creates an opportunity where the intelligence that is already there, blossoms.
Some desire or another will keep troubling your mind day and night. So leave everything on the Guru, and surrender to the Guru.
When you have a Guru; These things (fear, uncertainty) even if they come, they don’t stay, they come and vanish.
Consciously/unconsciously you are all a Guru to somebody already because you do give advice, guidance, love, and care to people, isn't it? So now do it consciously, giving your 100% without expecting anything in return. This is living the Guru Principle.
The physical presence of Guru/Ashram energy is like a petrol bank. When you run out of fuel you come to Guru/Ashram to refuel.
If you help somebody with an attitude of ‘I want nothing, I just want your progress’ then you’re a Guru to them. Yet don’t demand them to accept you as Guru. No, a real Guru does not demand anything, not even gratitude from somebody.
A person asks, ‘Gurudev, I am contented but my parents…’ : 'There is no but - if you are contented - the ‘but’ disappears!'
A Guru will put you into your Self, make you reach the goal - not just tell you some techniques and show you some path.
What is the significance of the Guru Disciple Tradition? It is for the Disciple to realize that desires are endless.
When you leave this body, the first person you meet on the other side is your Guru to take you further!
