Spinach sesame salad
Spinach is growing very well in my rooftop garden. No pesticide, no chemical fertilizer has been used, which makes it healthy for my family. In a salad, this fresh spinach tastes even better! Lovely comfort food on a winter afternoon after gardening!
Ingredients for Spinach sesame salad:
Homegrown spinach leaves: a small bunch (Chopped roughly. Do not use stems.)
Toasted White Sesame seeds: 1 tsp
Sesame Oil: 1 tsp
Tomatoes: 2 medium (Diced, bite size)
Orange: 1 (diced, bite size)
Garlic: 2 cloves crushed
Lemon juice: 2 tsp
Black salt: to taste
Pepper powder: to taste
Sugar or honey: half tsp
Toss all the ingredients in a salad bowl. Allow the juices to seep and blend for 5 minutes. Serve!
